A personalized plan for wellness with evidenced-based nutrition
Hi, I’m Johannah! I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDCES) that’s passionate about helping people improve their health through food on THEIR terms. I’m a mom of two, a wife, a runner, a yogi, and a veggie enthusiast.
I worked in healthcare settings for 8+ years practicing clinical & outpatient nutrition, diabetes education, and food service management. When I found myself at a crossroads in my career, I realized I was off the mark when it came to fulfilling the mission I envisioned when I signed up for my collegiate nutrition courses years ago… Help people improve their lives. Sure, it’s cliche, but gesh, I feel it in my bones.
My experience in the hospital setting showed me we have come a long way in terms of what we can do for sick patients, but there’s a lot of opportunity to do more with personalized nutrition so we can prevent disease. After all, early nutrition interventions are proven to help folks feel better, live longer, and be happier. All that said, it can be challenging to know where to start. So, in summary… Evergreen Health and Wellness was born!
Together, we can navigate your health journey to find sustainable approaches that fit your unique needs. We’ll avoid quick fixes, and one-size-fits-all plans while employing common sense practice that empowers you to navigate your health.
Glad you’re here. Let’s get started.
